Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-09-14

These terms govern your use of DecimalTime (decimaltime.xyz). By using the site you agree to them. In plain language: the tools are free, provided as-is, for informational conversion math — not as payroll, legal or financial advice.

Use of the tools

You may use the calculators and charts on this site free of charge, for personal or professional purposes, without an account. You agree not to interfere with the operation of the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it in violation of applicable law.

The tools perform arithmetic conversions between time formats. Results are exact to four decimal places for the values you enter; how your payroll provider, employer or client rounds, converts or pays time is governed by their systems and policies, not by this site.

No professional advice

Nothing on this site constitutes payroll, accounting, legal or tax advice. The gross-pay estimate produced by the time card calculator is a simple multiplication of hours by the rate you enter: it excludes overtime premiums, taxes, deductions, benefits and any jurisdiction-specific rules. Do not rely on it for pay decisions of record.

If a figure from this site differs from your paycheck, invoice or payroll report, treat the external system as authoritative and use our tools to understand the discrepancy.

Disclaimers and liability

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this site or its content.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time, and we may update these terms from time to time — the revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Your continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
